This policy applies to the Piercing Gauge & Jewelry Size Converter Chrome extension published by Desire Surgical Instruments, version 1.0.0 and later unless this page is updated. In short: the extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or usage data.
What the extension does with data
- Values you type (gauge selections, millimeter or inch values, search text) are processed only inside the extension popup on your device to show results. They are not stored and are discarded when the popup closes.
- Theme preference: if you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is saved in the browser’s local storage on your device so the popup opens in the same theme next time. It never leaves your device. You can clear it by removing the extension.
- Clipboard: when you click Copy Result, the result text is written to your clipboard. The extension never reads your clipboard.
What the extension does not do
- No analytics, tracking, cookies, advertising or fingerprinting.
- No network requests. All reference data is bundled in the extension, and it works offline.
- No access to your browsing history, tabs or web page content.
- No Chrome permissions are requested.
- No remote code is loaded or executed.

The extension popup contains two links to desiresurgical.com. They open in a new tab only when you click them. Once you are on this website, the website privacy policy applies.
Children
The extension is a measurement reference for professionals and adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If the extension’s data practices ever change, this policy will be updated before the new version is published, and the date at the top will change.
