This policy explains what information Desire Surgical collects when you visit desiresurgical.com, use our Quote Desk chat, send us a quote request or contact us, and how we use and protect it. We are a manufacturer and exporter that sells to businesses, so most of the information we handle is business contact information.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote Desk chat. The email address you enter at the start of the chat (you can skip this step), the messages you type, and the products and quantities you add to your list. If you send a quote request from the chat, we also collect your name, company, email, country, WhatsApp number (optional) and any notes.
- Contact and wholesale quote form. Your name, company, business email, WhatsApp or phone number, country, business type, what you need, quantities, your product list, your message and any file you upload, such as a logo, drawing or sample photo.
- Email, WhatsApp and phone. Whatever you choose to send us, including attachments.
- Orders. When you order from us, the contact, billing and delivery details needed to invoice and ship your order. We do not collect card or bank account numbers on this website.
- Blog comments. If you leave a comment, your name, email address, comment and IP address.
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location based on your IP address, how you found us, and actions such as opening the Quote Desk, adding a product or sending a request. Google Analytics does not receive the text of your chat messages or form entries.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser and the time of each visit to run and protect the website.
- Cookies and browser storage. See Cookies and browser storage below.
How we use your information
- To answer your questions and prepare quotes, samples and pro forma invoices.
- To follow up on your enquiry. If you leave your email in the Quote Desk, our sales team may contact you about the products you looked at, even if you did not send a quote request.
- To process, ship and invoice orders and to handle after-sales questions.
- To improve our website, product range and service, using analytics.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and misuse.
- To meet our legal, tax, customs and export obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Legal basis for using your information
If data protection laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply to you, we rely on:
- Contract: to prepare quotes and fulfil the orders you ask for.
- Legitimate interests: to answer and follow up on business enquiries, run and secure our website, and improve our products and service.
- Consent: where the law requires it, for example for certain cookies or for marketing emails. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep business, tax and export records.
Our AI chat assistant
The Quote Desk helps you find products and build a product list. When its AI feature is switched on, the text of your chat messages and your product list are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI model, so it can write replies and suggest products. Anthropic processes this content on our behalf to provide the service and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. Replies are suggestions only: prices, specifications and availability are always confirmed by our sales team.
Please do not share sensitive personal information, such as health details or payment card numbers, in the chat.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run our business and this website:
- Hosting: Hostinger, which hosts this website and its database.
- Google: Google Analytics (website statistics), Google AdSense (advertising), Google Fonts (text fonts), Google Maps (the map on our contact page) and Google Translate (when you choose another language with the language switcher, the page text is sent to Google for translation).
- Anthropic: the AI model behind the Quote Desk, when that feature is switched on.
- Email and messaging: the providers of our business email and WhatsApp, when you contact us through them.
- Couriers and freight forwarders, such as DHL, FedEx and UPS, to deliver your order.
- Payment providers and banks, such as Wise, Payoneer, Western Union and Remitly, when you pay us through them.
- Authorities and advisers, such as customs and tax authorities, accountants or lawyers, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Each provider handles your information under its own privacy terms. When you click a WhatsApp button you leave our website, and WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States and countries in Europe. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those where you live. We use established providers and, where available, rely on their contractual safeguards for international transfers.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files that your browser stores for a website. Our site also uses your browser’s local storage to remember your product list and chat on your device. We use:

You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, manage personalised ads in Google Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
How long we keep information
- Quote requests, form messages and emails: for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and our business relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as accounting, tax and customs rules require.
- Chat emails and chats that do not lead to a quote request: deleted after 12 months.
- Order and invoice records: for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Analytics data: no longer than 14 months, after which Google Analytics deletes it.
- Information stored in your browser: until you clear it, as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it, including follow-up from our sales team;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
To use any of these rights, email sales@desiresurgical.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and our forms and chat are protected against spam and misuse. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through the site.
Children
Our website and products are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites and services, such as WhatsApp, social networks, couriers and payment providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their own policies.
